CO multiples of 4 + 3.

Row 1:  K5, p1, *k3, p1*, repeat to last stitch, k1.

Row 2:  P4, RTP (knit into the front of the second stitch on the left needle without removing it from the needle, then purl the first stitch on the left needle, slipping both stitches off the needle at the same time.), *p2, RTP*, to the last stitch p1.

Row 3:  K2, p1, *k3, p1*, repeat to last 4 stitches, k4.

Row 4:  P3, *RTP, p2*, repeat to end of row.

Row 5:  K3, *p1, k3*, repeat to end of row.

Row 6:  *P2, RTP*, repeat to last 3 stitches, p3.

Row 7:  K4, p1, *k3, p1*, repeat to last 2 stitches k2.

Row 8:  P1, *RTP, p2*, repeat to last 2 stitches, p2.

These 8 rows complete the pattern.
