STEP 6:

Now the sewing starts.   

Using any dark contrast cotton, tack those seams and remove the pins.

For this you need embroidery thread with contains 4 threads… See below.

Measure the thread from your fingers to your elbow and cut.  Keeping where you cut in your hand – go to the front of the thread and gently pull out one thread.

Using your quilting needle (small eye) thread the cotton and do a quilters knot.  This i will explain below with aid of some pictures.

Thread the needle and place the bottom of the thread on your left index finger and put the needle ontop of it as shown in picture.

Place your left thumb over it and take the thread, which i have now draped over my pinkie, and wrap it around the needle tip 3 times.

Holding this with your thumb firmly, pull the needle and thread out,

And there is your quilters knot at the end of the thread.
