How to make a hexagon bag – part 2

Now all your hexagons should be cut out, pasted onto batting and then onto the wrong side of the outer hexagon.

Always start on your left side of the hexagon when foiding in the seams.  See where i am pointing to the line that i made..

Fold the material over on the line and lightly finger-press it..

Then fold it over onto the inner hexagon and it should look like this.

Fold in all the seams and pin it down until you get to the top seam.

NB :  The corners must line up and if it does not, you need to fix it as you might have cut it out wrongly.  See where i am pointing too.

Now fold in the top seam and pin.

Pin all the hexagons and get ready for the next section which is the sewing.  For this you will need quilting needle (small eye) and embroidery thread.  I prefer using a thread that will blend in with the background.  For example, i will use a green thread and if my outer hexagon is read or pink material, then i would use red or pink thread.

Until next time, happy pinning!
