3 groot aartappels
2 geelwortels
1 groot ui

1 piesang
1 granny smith appel
Knoffel
Sout
Peper
Gemengde kruie
Maizena
Blatjang
Kerrie poeier ± 1 opgehoopte teelepel
Borrie poeier ± 1 opgehoopte teelepel

Metode:

Kook die hoender in ± 1½ koppies water, voeg sout, peper, knoffel en gemengde kruie by. Kook tot sag. Haal vleis uit en laat eenkant om effens aft e koel. Sny op in stukkies. Sny aartappels in blokkies en die wortel in skyfies en kook tot sag in vleiswater. Intussen braai gekerfte ui in bietjie olyfolie tot glaserig, voeg gerasperde appel en gesnipperde piesang by. Voeg nou die Kerrie- en borriepoeier by en braai vir 2-3 min. Voeg nou die hoender en uiemengsel by die saggekookte groente en meng deur. Indien water min is voeg nog by. Voeg nog geurmiddels en blatjang by na smaak. Meng ongeveer 2 teelepels Maizena met ‘n bietjie melk (¼ k)en voeg by kerriepot om te verdik. Kook goed deur tot lekker sous gevorm het. Bedien op bruinrys met gestoofde vrugte.
