MIcrowave Milk Tart

If you’re in the mood to make a pudding for dinner and it’s last minute, then here’s a quick and easy recipe for you to try.


  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Maizena
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Almond Essence
  • Packed of Tennis Biscuits
  • Cinnamon


  1. Mix first 4 ingredients together (Flour, Maizena, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt and 1 Cup Sugar) + eggs
  2. Cook milk, butter in microwave for approx. 10 minutes on high.
  3. Mix the 2 mixtures created above in Step 1 and Step 2 well with a whisk.
  4. Add Vanilla and Almond Essence
  5. Place in microwave on high for 3 minutes
  6. Remove from microwave and beat the mixture well.
  7. Place back in microwave for 3 minutes more.
  8. Remove from microwave and beat the mixture well.
  9. Place in 20cmx20cm square dish on top of crushed biscuits.
  10. Sprinkle cinnamon over.
  11. Place back in microwave for 7 to 8 minutes on medium high.
  12. Remove from microwave and allow to cool.


Once set, sit back and enjoy!
