- After yeast is dissolved mix in salt, sugar and butter with wire wisk.
- Add flour.
- Mix well and knead. Let rise 15 minutes
- Divide dough into small balls, roll into a rope and twist into a pretzel.
- Mix 1/8 c. soda into 1 cup warm water.
- Dip each pretzel into soda mixture.
- Place pretzel on cookie sheet and sprinkle with pretzel salt.
- Bake at 350 – 400 until golden brown. Dip into melted butter!
