Cheese and Onion Muffins

This is made by Aunty Doreen de Goede and its my treat everytime….

 

375 ml (1 1/2 cups) flour

15 ml (1 tablesopon) baking powder

pinch of salt

250 ml (1 cup) gratged strong Cheddar cheese

1 packet Onion soup mix

250 ml (1 cup) milk

1 egg

60 ml (1/4 cup) oil

 

METHOD:

1.  Preheat over to 180 degrees

2.  Sift dry ingredients into bowl and add cheese.

3.  Combine the soup mix and milk and allow to stand for 5 minutes

4.  Beat the egg and together with the oil to the milk mixture.

5.  Add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

6.  Spoon into greased muffin tin and bake for 15 – 20 minutes….
