Where in the Bible does it talk about the Lord’s returning

Well I did not think it would be difficult to find scripture in the Old Testament confirming the Lords return, but I was wrong.  I could only find 3
references to the Lords returning unlike the +-37 references that I found in the New  Testament.  Maybe I did not look hard enough.  Maybe you know of more passages  in the Old Testament and if so, I would love to know them.
All scripture that I quote is taken from my Good News Bible Today’s English  Version, First South African Edition, 1977.
Lets turn to the scriptures.
Psalms 50: 3 (OT page 565)
Our God is coming, but not in silence; a raging fire is in front of  him, a furious storm is round him.
Zechariah 14: 6-7 (OT page 927)
When that time comes, there will no longer be cold or frost, nor any  darkness.  There will always be daylight, even at night-time.  When this will  happen is known only to the LORD.
Malachi 4: 5 (OT page 931)
But before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes, I will send  you the prophet Elijah.
In nearly every book of the New Testament, you will find a verse or verses  which state that the Lord will return.  So no one can say they did not know this  as its in the New Testament and in nearly every book.  This just goes to show,  that they don’t read their bible at all.  And their arguments are foolish to say the least.  Lets turn to the scriptures again….
Matthew 16: 27 (NT page24)
For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his  angels, and then he will repay everyone according to his deeds.
Matthew 24: 27, 30-31 (NT page 36)
For the Son of Man will come like the lightning which flashes across  the whole sky from the east to the west.  Then the sign of the Son of Man will  appear in the sky;  and all the peoples of earth will weep as they see the Son  of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 25: 31  (NT page 38 )

coming on the clouds of heaven!”
Mark 8: 38 (NT page 57)
If a person is ashamed of me and of my teaching in this godless and  wicked day, then the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in the  glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Mark 13: 26-27 (NT page 65)
Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in the clouds with great power  and glory.  He will send the angels out to the four corners of the earth to  gather God’s chosen people from one end of the world to the other.

1 Corinthians 4: 5 (NT page 208)
So you should not pass judgement on anyone before the right time  comes.  Final judgement must wait until the Lord comes;  he will bring to light  the dark secrets and expose the hidden purposes of people’s minds.  And then  everyone will receive from God the praise he deserves.

To obey your orders and keep them faithfully until the Day when our  Lord JEsus Christ will appear.  His appearing will be brought about at the right  time by God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of Kings and the Lord of  lords.
2 Timothy 4: 1 (NT page 266)
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living  and the dead, and because he is coming to rule as King, I solemnly urge you to  preach the message, to insist upon proclaiming it…..
2 Timothy 4: 8 (NT page 267)
And now there is waiting for me the prize of victory awarded for righteous life, the prize which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on
